Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do not, and why it does not take long to read.
Last updated: August 2026
The short version. SpriteWeaver does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Everything stays on your device. No account required, no analytics, no telemetry, ever.
Data collection
SpriteWeaver collects no data of any kind. The application sends no analytics and no crash reports, and includes no tracking or advertising SDKs.
There is nothing to opt out of and there are no privacy settings to configure. The application declares no network capability of its own.
Your images
Images you import, and the sprite sheets and metadata files you export, are read from and written to folders on your local machine that you choose. They are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere by the application. All image processing happens on your own device.
Application settings
Your preferences, such as the theme, are stored in a local file at
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SpriteWeaver\settings.json on your
device. Saved presets are ordinary .swproj files written
wherever you choose to put them. Neither ever leaves your machine.
Licence and purchase
The Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by the Microsoft Store. SpriteWeaver asks Windows whether that purchase is active, which the operating system answers through the Store. The application never sees payment details, never contacts a server of its own, and runs no licence infrastructure. For how Microsoft handles your purchase data, see Microsoft's privacy policy.
Third-party components
SpriteWeaver uses the following open-source libraries. None of them collect user data:
- SixLabors.ImageSharp for image decoding and encoding (Apache 2.0 under the Six Labors split licence)
- CommunityToolkit.Mvvm (MIT)
- Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection (MIT)
The Unity and Godot import scripts SpriteWeaver can install into your project are plain source files that run inside those editors. They read the metadata file next to your sheet and nothing else.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example if a future version adds optional crash reporting, it will be updated here with a new date, and changes will be noted in the app's release notes. The current policy, as written above, is simple: we collect nothing.
